Mackenzie Dean uses her dark magic to war against the Vim and their Empyrean Way.
As a Veil student at the Academy of Aetheric Affairs, Mackenzie secretly practiced Infernal Bone Magic and was expelled by the Vim leadership. Using her wicked powers to corrupt the other Veils, she led them in a violent coup against the Vim. The few survivors escaped to Grimwood Forest and Mackenzie established the Order of the Veil in Crow City.
